High Speed Rail
Jakarta - Bandung

Technique: Rigid Inclusion - CFG

The Jakarta-Bandung high speed train will use the latest generation CR400AF. The length of the 142.3 KM trajectory stretches from Jakarta to Bandung and has 4 stop stations namely halim, karawang, padalarang, tegalluar with one depot located in tegalluar.

ArthaGeo is participating in this fast train project to performed ground improvement for its railway track. The choice of ground improvement is Rigid Inclusion column. The material used for rigid inclusion is using cement fly-ash gravel or commonly name as CFG, which made the column name is called CFG pile. A column diameter of 0.5m is performed by using full displacement auger to enable a faster construction as well as giving an added value to densify the surrounding soils during installation process.
